• Over 70 sharks tagged with new placard type tags

• 4 sharks tagged with archival pop-off satellite tags

• 4 shark tagged with a Spot2 satellite tags 

• 2 Acoustic tags deployed

• Over 230 in-water encounters since project start

• Up to 49 sharks a day located by our micro-light aircraft during the Autumn season

Since then the programme has been largely self-funded by the participation of the public on in-water monitoring trips, with additional support from the Save Our Seas Foundation to support satellite tracking and data analysis.
